Great broasted chicken and waffle fries...can be busy Friday nights but sit back and enjoy a cold one.

Since being under the new ownership the chicken and service is absolutely the way Jim Mahoney wanted it done. If its busy you can expect a wait but it is worth it. I grew up in Alburnett only to see this place go down the crapper since I moved to Wisconsin. However, whoever owns it now has revived it and knows what they are doing!

Good food but it could use a bit of a face lift. Its a decent small town bar.

Mahoney's broasted chicken and their broasted potatoes are great! I would say theirs is better than anywhere I've found in Cedar Rapids. Every time we go it is pretty packed though, so if you want to eat there expect to wait, and probably expect that you might be scrunched in a bit. You can call an order in and enjoy it at home though.

Great service and possibly the best breasted chicken around. A great place to go eat alone or take the family or large group for a get together. The people are nice, it has a hometown atmosphere and is rather inexpensive for what you get.

Met our two sons and their wives for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Food was great, service was great. Had nice time.

Was very good!!! Been there many times, sometimes it's busy, so I expect to wait. Other times not busy, and wonderful service.

Business is now Fullers. But Excellent family dining, food and Great people!!
